Jesus said, “seek first the Kingdom of God…” What does that mean? What is God’s Kingdom? Where can I find it? Speaking to the Father Jesus then says, “your Kingdom come…” Have you seen the Kingdom?
Based on these scriptures it sounds like we better be…looking for God’s Kingdom…and asking for more of it.
On August 14th @ Bolsa Chica State Beach next to life guard station 26 @7pm we will be looking and asking, as multiple youth groups unite together to seek God’s Kingdom in southern California.
What a night!!! We had our first Burn Baptisms! 15 new believers in Jesus publicly declared their love for Jesus in the rough waves of Bolsa Chica beach. We followed that with hot dogs, games, worship, and of course smores. The Lord moved and He got our ATTENTION!… Thank you Jesus.
Last week I became an infant all over again. Just when I thought I had life figured out God did something that made my jaw hit the floor, my eyes pop out of their sockets, and once again I realized how VERY, very small I am. Last week The Burn Experiment went up the mountain to Sonshine Christian Camp where we spent a few days with 64 youth from inner city LA (Bell Gardens) and some of the most incredible leaders I have ever seen in action. Because of the leaders passion to love these young people, and because God spirit moved as they sacrificed, FASTED, and prayed for them, 45 kids came to JESUS. I must add… this was not an alter call trickle that started with 1..then 2..then 3, literally 45 kids stood up and came forward at the SAME time!! This is evidence that God moves as we live life together, as we pray and fast for one another, while staying focused on the sacrifice and victory of Jesus. Let us continue to embrace truth as we pursue the mysterious. When was the last time God did something EXTRAordinary in your life? Lets talk!
God continues to amaze me with what he is doing through The Burn Experiment. As we focus on His sacrifice and resurrection he makes himself known in unique and amazing ways. I know it sounds to easy, but God doesn’t make it hard…we do. Tonight we met at the beach with multiple youth groups, and although the sound system went out, we broke bread, passed the cup, worshiped, gave thanks, and God showed up and had an eye opening moment with His people. Because we had over a hundred people, groups passing bye stopped to hang. I can’t wait to see what God is going to do as we move forward with The Burn Experiment. I’m out! Thursday night we did The Burn Experiment at Bolsa Chica beach in southern california. It was amazing. Great turn out, great hang time, great smores, great woship together. STAY FOCUSED!
